I have also advocated for the place of government, specifically as to its constitutional role. Our cynicism usually finds government at its epicenter. DEAR EDITOR: On Thursday, Sept. 18, in the wake of the Jimmy Kimmel issue, Donald Trump made the following statement while being interviewed on Air Force One: “And if [broadcast outlets] are 97% against — they give me only bad publicity or press — I mean, they are getting a license. DEAR EDITOR: I had been worrying that 47’s specious deployments of federalized National Guards as well as masked secret police of ICE were actually war game practice for midterm and 2028 elections. When he suggested to a mandatory gathering of all military flag officers during his Quantico presentation that they should use U.S. cities as practice grounds for troop training, I felt he confirmed my suspicion.
