Sound off! March 7-8
To the writer from Poland who wrote about the economic gain from the income tax refund I have a question. What has President Trump did that is against the Constitution? And what democratic norms are you talking about ? The things Joe Biden did like tapping people’s phone? I wrote the letter to highlight the Democrats hypocrisy. If you think President Trump does everything wrong, then the extra refund should be wrong in your eyes. Again, you’re a hypocrite if you keep the extra refund!

In today’s Vindicator I read where our illustrious congressman Rulli wants to censure Democratic Congressman Al Green. Hey, Michael is doing something. Would you list anything you have done for the Valley? You even leave that Valley for newspapers to tell us what you do. Town Halls? NO Respond to constituents’ letters to your office? Only when it is a canned response by a robot. You can’t even get more than one other Congressman to co-sponsor anything, You are as useful as doing nothing. At least you can get free meals paid for by others.

Presto! The Invisible Man” (Rulli) makes a rare appearance to introduce another ridiculous bill proposal to coddle The Orange Guy’s affections. The Vindy did a good job listing previous proposals that had zero interest in Congress. Pay attention to important stuff, Congressman!

If you didn’t think the Democrats are radical, they proved it during the State of the Union. When President Trump ask everyone who believes the government should put U.S. citizens before illegal aliens, none of the Democrats stood up. This proves how radical they are. This has nothing to do to with their hatred of President Trump; it shows there disdain for every day Americans. Every person in congress to an oath to protect this country and its citizens. The Democrats showed they don’t care about we the people, but care about people who broke our laws.

I challenge the MAGA cultists to counter any of the following about their idol — Here are only a few descriptive terms that are indefensible. He is: Insecure, vindictive, unfaithful, a liar, ego-maniacal, irrational, petty, self-aggrandizing, and worse of all- he cheats at golf. Your turn.

Warmer weather will be here soon. Please don’t clear leaves from flower beds and around your yard. Bees and other beneficial insects are still hibernating in the leaves. Dandelions will be emerging. Leave them to bloom and dry. They’re the first food for bees. Don’t use any chemicals on your lawns. Plant flowers and plants to attract bees and butterflies. So much of nature depends on a healthy lawn for food. Enjoy a natural yard.

History repeats itself. How many tyrannical governments were there? Most of them. And how many mad kings ruled those tyrannies? Too many! We have the worst now, here, ruling us. Wake up America! OMG. Per Bernie Taupin, “… There’s a joke and I know it very well… one of those I told you long ago… I’m a madman don’t you know? … Is the nightmare black, or… the windows painted? Will they come again next week, can my mind really take it?

After tush-friendly Democrats (the kind who do nothing but sit during a certain president’s State of the Union address), the second-most annoyance is those cellphone users who knowingly or unknowingly irritate the party on the opposite end of the call with a cacophony, such as loud TVs, silverware clanging against a plate or glass, coughing, doors slamming, extraneous talking and other background noises. What’s worse is when the inconsiderate caller asks the affected listener NOT TO USE the speaker-phone function out of deference for his/her sensitive ears.

We are in a period of shrinking job growth. First it was robots taking away blue-collar jobs and now it is AI taking away white-collar jobs. This may make the bottom line of major companies better, but who will pay the income tax from these lost jobs? The loss of hard-working immigrants’ income who also pay taxes will make it worse. Something needs to be done.

The income tax filing season is in full gear, and we, seniors especially, are seeing a lower tax liability as a result of Trump’s tax reduction bill that passed last year. The suggestion that we are supposed to bow in grateful homage to the man for returning some of our own money back to us is ludicrous. Are we that gullible not to understand that Trump is simply using our taxpayer dollars to buy votes and to ease the effects of the affordability crisis in America that he couldn’t fix and claims doesn’t exist?

Given their recent performance stopping air traffic, shooting down balloons and zapping their own drone out of the skies, we can all thank God the dunderheads of ICE, and their border patrol colleagues, have yet to add lasers to their “crowd control” arsenal. They truly are the mask-wearing Elmer Fudds of law enforcement. Where is Bugs Bunny when we need him?

On Sunday 2-22 a resident of Hubbard bragged about getting $1,200 more this year on his income tax refund because of Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. He forgot to mention that it cost him $1,700 more this year because of Trump’s tariffs. When I do the math, it shows that he lost $500.

Plan to vote early or in person because the Supreme Court has declared only the Department of Justice can bring a lawsuit against the Post Office or its employees if they lose or destroy your mail INCLUDING MAIL-IN BALLOTS.

Vote early or in person because the Supreme Court has declared only the Department of Justice can bring a lawsuit against the Post Office or its employees if they lose or destroy your mail INCLUDING MAIL-IN BALLOTS. The only thing better than “finding” 1,100 unreal votes is deliberately “losing” that many real ones with impunity.

I support Donald Trump’s new nominee for surgeon general if her appointment requires that she performs any surgery he may require.

For a speech about how “America is back!” and how the state of the union is strong, our President spent about two hours not talking up the improvements in the lives of everyday Americans but of tragedy after tragedy to fear-monger. If the state of the union is so strong, why is the only thing we have to talk is about is how unsafe the union is?

As far as the Epstein fiasco goes, I have to ask myself why are 13-year-olds down there partying to begin with? Where were the parents? Why have none of the parents been interviewed at all to find out from their perspective how this was to have been allowed. And then another 13-year-old reaches out to one of her friends and says come on down and party with us. So they’ve hooked up another 13-year-old. Let’s talk about the parents for once.

We hear many Democrats say we should not target countries for regime change. Vladimir Putin, Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin, Ayatollah Khamenei, and Adolph Hitler strongly agree. How many tens of millions of lives would have been saved?

Starting a war we shouldn’t be in, Trump said ‘some’ American lives will be lost. What would he say if it was HIS son? He uses words like obliterate, annihilate. He and Hegseth are maniacs. It almost seems they are having fun while using all the weapons available to inflict as much damage all over Iran and the Middle East. Hundreds of families may lose their loved ones, both civilians, children, and military members, but this doesn’t concern Trump.

Unilateral, unprovoked agression against Iran by the United States and Israel and the best you can do on your Vindy front page dated March 3, 2026 is a picture of Israeli mourners? Way to go.

Mahoning County Recorder Richard Scarsella settled his defamation lawsuit 2023 CV 2524 against Mill Creek Park’s Executive Director Aaron Young on November 18, 2025. The court ordered the parties to file the settlement by December 18, 2025. Online records indicate they have not. If not, why not? The settlement is a public record. Government insurance (paid for by taxpayers) defended Young in the lawsuit. So when will the public see the settlement?

King Trump has unilaterally gotten us into a war with Iran. He has no idea what the ramifications will be, nor does he know how to deal with them or the cost. Iranians and Israelis will die, Americans will die, thousands will die. His message to the world is that the way to resolve a problem is to attack those you disagree with. So might they attack us? This is the seventh country he has attacked in about a year.

I voted for Trump, however, due to recent developments I will no longer support the Trump-BiBi-Epstein-BlackRock Syndicate. However, this does not mean I will back Democrats, I am withdrawing from the uniparty system and will no longer vote since there are no differences. Voting Democrat or Republican is like arguing over a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon. They are the exact same!

Looks like the self-appointed Chairman of the Board of Peace has renamed those he once called “suckers” and “losers” as patriots. He needs them to die in his latest foreign war game. It’s just another billions of bucks grift of everyone including the losers and suckers who thought they were electing a hero. I hope every great Medal of Honor recipient medaled by Trump gets another formal presentation made by someone more honorable than any member of this administration. That’s not too high a bar.
