Deer won’t starve without hunters

DEAR EDITOR:

To the woman in SoundOff that wrote last week saying that if we stop the slaughter of the deer in Mill Creek Park they will die of starvation and that is a terrible death. I see why you didn’t want to put your name in! So, it’s more calming to be hit by an arrow, run for your life, maybe into traffic, or lie in the woods dying and suffering?

These old hen stories are put out by most people that want to hunt. It’s their excuse for hunting. You make no sense, you are saying the deer have to die, that it’s better they get their head blown off than to go hungry. Lady, do you follow the deer around in the park? There should not even be hunters in our family park and neighborhoods. Not at all, and I promise you they will never starve to death.

Do not switch this around, as it is Aaron Young who gives the lies to keep killing the deer. When they are all dead from him, we will tend to the golf course that is being redistributive and we will focus on that. It doesn’t belong in a family park. We have many beautiful golf courses right in Canfield. The deer go in a sanctuary and in a reserve … this is a family park that needs to be kept up. I suggest a sight that is not named “Lies To Kill Deer.”
