It is a promise — that we will never forget the price paid for our peace, our voice, our home.

It is a day to say, with full hearts and steady voices: Thank you.

For the long nights away from family, for the unseen scars and the silent strength, for your willingness to serve, and your faith in what is right and just.

Your legacy is written not only in history books, but in the hearts of every American who wakes to a free sunrise.

We honor you today and always — not only for what you gave, but for who you are.
