The slaughter of animals has to stop

DEAR EDITOR:

Yes, their lies and sucking up to each other must stop. ODNR sits on the coattails of Aaron Young. They certainly must have some kind of agreement between them, I presume, with their actions.

ODNR stands for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. It’s the Ohio government agency responsible for managing and protecting the state’s natural resources, including land, water, wildlife and minerals. ODNR plays a crucial role in balancing the wise use and conservation of Ohio’s natural resources.

Where is the protection and management of our wildlife? Slaughtering them is not managing them nor protecting them by any means.

They seem to only listen to Aaron Young, pretending they are running the show, when they are being run by Aaron?

Have you noticed the water in our park has had E. coli for years? Have you noticed the land in Mill Creek Park? Leaning, falling, water-soaked trees like on the golf course?

A man died because of lack of care. The Native American artifacts that used to be are not anymore, and I would assume minerals are gone too, from what I have heard.

To a lay person or anyone who has not been paying attention, our park is being raped by all of the above. The selected director, Aaron Young, who was fired by Geauga, and Rusu, who won’t get rid of him or the others. So, it started with Rusu, then Young, and the cancer connected to the ODNR.

I don’t know how long some of these leaders have been in office at ODNR. It does seem a very long time to the point they have become fixtures, just like Aaron Young and his boys. I think there are so many things to be looked into and uncovered in this strange scenario of possible deceit.

You would think all of Youngstown would want to know about our Mill Creek Park and its activities … or better said, possible unethical activity. After all, isn’t it our money?

Starting at $3.23/week.
