Peaceful protests are now something else
DEAR EDITOR:
What is a riot or a peaceful march?
A peaceful march is what MLK did in the 1960s — no burning cars or attacking law enforcement, attacking stores and breaking windows, stealing from people and burning American flags, holding up other countries’ flags and showing no respect for our country.
No respect for law and order! Mayors who won’t protect their cities or governors who stand down and blame someone else for not doing their job just to destroy their businesses.
One party that wants this to happen all over the country does not love our country. They don’t believe in law and order. All they want is power to tell us how to live or what to buy.
America needs to wake up before we can be taken over and we lose our freedom.
They want to take away the rights of women to have sports or have children, have jobs, go to college.
What happened to love for God and country?
Since 2009, everything changed — our education, love for each other, dividing people by race or religion. Rioting in our streets. Nobody paying for the attacks on other people’s rights and business.
We the people have to stop this attack on our homeland before it is too late.
