DEAR EDITOR:

In reference to a letter mocking and degrading President Trump saying he was saved by God in the assassination attempt:

The writer also wrote “that belief implies that God directed Booth’s bullet into Lincoln’s brain.” Guess he hasn’t heard of free will, which God gives all of us (including Booth).

Was that just a coincidence that Trump moved in the split second the bullet flew toward him? There are thousands of examples in history of “divine intervention and miracles.”

The obvious-leftist writer brought up the First Amendment that the government cannot promote one religion over another. Trump didn’t write an executive order on that! He simply felt and said God spared him, and millions of Americans agreed.

The fact that Trump credited and often brings up God is resented by liberals. Our country was founded on Christianity. Those on the left are doing everything they can to eliminate God from America.

The writer is a typical radical liberal, who apparently doesn’t believe in a loving God.

We need God’s blessings for all of us, even those who are full of hatred and desecrate our creator.
