We have sold our farmlands and thousands of acres of our land to the Chinese. To the point of them having unsupervised access to nearly all of our major airports. What is next dockspace at all our ocean ports so the illegal drugs and merchandise can be offloaded. The war will soon be within our own country; conquered from within! Please border control as well as common sense oversight! Look, listen , be aware and pay attention. Elected officials protect our country and our children; do what is right, not necessarily the most profitable.

Why don’t cats have to be licensed and leashed? Neighborhood cats are always in my yard. They sleep on my porch, my patio furniture and backyard bench. They use my flower beds for their bathrooms. They lay by my bird baths and feeders and eat the birds that I welcome. I am forever rapping on the window or shooshing them away.
By law, dogs, regardless of breed or size, have to be licensed and leashed at all times. I know these neighborhood cats aren’t feral because I’ve seen them with their owners who aren’t receptive to their responsibility as pet owners.

Almost 160,000 people have been removed from Ohio’s voter rolls by the secretary of state. I urge anyone who has missed voting in the last few years, to verify his / her registration with the Board of Elections so that you can vote in the upcoming presidential Election. You only have until Oct. 7 to verify your registration. Be aware. Don’t delay.

President Clinton was elected twice, despite Hillary and his shenanigans WHY? We were safer and the economy sang. The two most important things; President Trump kept us safe and the economy good. What has happened since then? Biden-Harris opened the border, embarrassed in Afghanistan, 40% increase in national debt and foodstuffs doubled, cars tripled in price. Safer? NO! Scared to death. Get them out while we still have a chance.

Arby’s is supposedly full of choices and they supposedly have the meat!?
Really? OMG!
They can’t even bring back the original thin-sliced, juicy, medium-rare real roast beef carved to order on the slicing machine like in their first store in Boardman from the ’60s, heaped on to a simple fresh sesame seed bun with au jus!
If they can do that again I may go there.
Instead, their basic roast beef is dried-out, overdone scrap-loaf and has been for decades.

There should be a new name for those sorry people, young and old, that throw trash on our streets and sidewalks. I propose a new campaign to point out the true nature of these vermin. They should be called what they are: LITTER PIGS. Don’t be one!

Gov. DeWine and Frank LaRose have deliberately mangled the ballot language for the Citizens not Politicians amendment to end the gerrymandering of Ohio. Ohio is one of, if not THE most, gerrymandered states in the country. Not a statistic to be proud of. In DeWine and LaRose’s attempt to rule Ohio like Putin does Russia they are quashing Ohio voices / votes with grossly gerrymandered voting districts. Another step in the Project 2025 plan toward authoritarianism. Demand DeWine and LaRose use the ballot language submitted by Citizens not Politicians for fair voting districts which reflect ALL Ohioans’ voices.

I am scared WE have a presidential candidate who originally went around presuming to be a viable candidate before delegate approval! Smells of communism or Naziism who upon candidate approval proceeded to promise stopping oil drilling and gasoline cars!
Topping that with more illegals including smugglers and killers then wanting laxer law enforcement! Guaranteed if Kamala would be elected we will be fighting WW3 on at least three fronts because the weakness will be recognized by Russia, China and the Muslim world as well as the illegals at home!!

The United Way and other area agencies like MYCAP, Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, Red Cross and Compass should be applauded for their amazing work to help the residents of International Towers. Hopefully, this community will rally around the people at those agencies, who must be exhausted, as well as the residents, who, too, must be exhausted, along with International Towers staff, and get them home safely and agency coffers restocked for next tragedy.

I encourage everyone to look at the interview J.D. Vance did with Megyn Kelly about his comments in 2021 referring to “childless cat ladies.” You’ll get the truth rather than what the media and Hollywood present to you regarding his comments. This is the type of vice president we need. To sum it up, Trump and his administration are pro-family, and as another reader of The Vindicator pointed out, Kamala Harris promotes abortion.

State Rep. Michael Loychik must be out of his mind to want to rename a state park after Donald Trump. While I admit Mosquito Lake is an unfortunate name for a park, there is an almost universal rule to not name parks or buildings after someone still living.

As a regular at the Lily Pond, I have to wonder who is influencing the decisions Mill Creek’s board is making regarding our beautiful park. First the killing of hundreds of deer, and now I’m witness to regular spraying of Roundup all around the pond and throughout the park. I was told it was the only way to deal with weeds. Why must weeds be dealt with in nature? Nature is being destroyed, poisoned.

We must defend our democracy. Is democracy the government funding of killing babies under the guise of “reproductive” rights? Is democracy a system of lifetime politicians living like kings? Is democracy a welfare state where generations feel entitled to anything not earned? Is it democracy that opens borders to millions to be bribed as voters? Is it democracy that is trillions in debt and has employees by the millions to tell us how to live? Let’s defend our Republic!

Shame on France with the entire world watching. Not one moment of TV time for us.

Maybe a great way to begin toning down the divisive rhetoric in our politics would be for Trump to urge his supporters to take down the F Biden flags. Wouldn’t that be decent?

State Rep. Mike Loychik missed the message when there was no interest in bringing his bill to rename Mosquito Lake State Park to the floor in 2021. His attempt to kiss the “Don’s” ring failed. There should be even less interest now that the honoree is a convicted felon.
