America is in trouble; pray for forgiveness

DEAR EDITOR:

Who would have thought that the USA would be filled with such outrage and hatred as it has been for the past several years? We have turned our country over to people who have no concept of world affairs, history, finances, education, defense and definitely morals. We have fallen a long, long way into a very dark abyss.

Our country is nearly beyond salvaging and I put the blame solely on liberals / Democrats and many others who are filled with contempt and animosity that they harbor for the United States of America. The blame should also rest on the shoulders of all local leaders throughout our country and those within our school systems and universities because of “wokeness” and the indoctrination of our young and college-age children.

President Obama and his disciples vowed to fundamentally change this country and the world and he did just that, thanks to the bleeding hearts who voted for him and those he later endorsed. Also, a big thanks to the ineptness of Joe Biden and his lying and pathetic administration. Obama was the only president I know of who never left Washington after his presidency but continued his stay. I wonder why? Perhaps his work was interrupted by Trump’s presidency. Yet Trump is the one they are concerned with when it comes to “democracy.” If the libs win, it will be Obama’s fourth term and the end of America as we have known it.

Also, did you read the “special” edition of the Aug. 10-11 Tribune? My take on “Sound Off” and “Letters to the Editor” is a critical and disappointing one. The problem with “Sound Off” is the fact that the writer doesn’t have the courage to have his name printed with his remarks. Stand up and take it as you dish it out! Many “Letters” don’t make sense and some sound so fictitious, but at least the person responsible has claimed it.

As far as the “opinions” go, it appears the trumpets had been sounded and the Liberals jumped to attention and heeded the call to quickly compose slanderous and abhorrent letters about Donald J. Trump for publication. And so they did!

What has happened to this country is a travesty. What has happened to Trump since the “escalator” and what the people of power and might have put him and his family through is a greater travesty.

We the people have lost not only respect for one another, our dignity and intellect, but even worse, we have lost our love and obedience to a loving and merciful God who has always watched over this country. We the people need to pray for forgiveness and certainly for our country. We are in deep trouble.
