DEAR EDITOR:

I did not watch the presidential debate for a reason; in fact a couple reasons: First, I wanted to hear the feedback from the press of talking heads; and second, I considered it a stress test for the president to stand alone for 90 minutes and not show some weakness.

But what really discouraged me was Gayle King’s comment that he “had one job to do.”

That one job came on top of trying to save our country from disaster from outside and within, despite the fact that only half the government is doing their job.

Here’s a news flash for you: There is a reason there is no “Gayle King Show.”

You can’t do it now without the support and help of hundreds of people working with you.

Give the president the credit for the things he is doing and has done the last four years.

Don’t let the world and the people of the United States think that this is what we want to decide how we vote. Do your job — present a true picture of what is going on in our government, who is doing it and who is trying to destroy it.
