US lets down those who strengthened it
DEAR EDITOR:
I used to be proud to be a citizen of the United States of America, but am “no longer,” due to the fact that it does not exist anymore. Now it is the laughing stock of the world.
This country was founded by immigrants looking for freedom from oppression of human rights. Look at the sorry mess we have made of that! We are in the process of voting for the very oppression that they fought to overcome.
Still hoping and praying for a better future in 2024.
