DEAR EDITOR:

Just to be clear, those of you reading this may think the debate about reproductive health care doesn’t affect you personally, so it won’t influence the way you vote.

But it will affect your children, your grandchildren, nieces and nephews. This isn’t just about access to abortion. It is about health care for women and those who love them. It’s about protecting women and young girls from acts of violence and victimization. It’s about access to invitro fertilization for those couples desperately trying to have a family. It’s about access to birth control for those who choose not to have a child.

See their faces in your mind when you vote.

As governor, Nan Whaley will defend reproductive health care for women and those who love them. Vote for Nan.
