Which candidates are pro-life in the city?
DEAR EDITOR:
I believe the Democratic Party puts its own citizens second to political power. That’s no secret.
Mayor Jamael Tito Brown, though a Democrat, has the courage to step back from political gain to sincerely put the people’s needs first. But is he or any of the candidates pro-life?
Respect for human life is essential in any effort to end the violence on Youngstown streets.
I hope the future mayoral debates are “less emotional” and more about how to help Youngstown and its citizens. I want to come away “hopeful” and without a political headache.
As an independent voter, I’m still unsure.
