Columnist Cal’s racial bias is on full display
DEAR EDITOR:
I suggest your newspaper ceases wasting money on syndication fees for Cal Thomas. I don’t know if he was ever “with it,” but he is certainly far past it. His tone-deaf interview with Newt Gingrich had their racial bias on full display. Could he not comprehend the sad optics of an elderly white man from the South still telling black people what they should do?
A better America can happen only when we white folks do a better job of listening to and taking to heart the concerns of people who suffer discrimination because they aren’t white.
