DEAR EDITOR:

During his campaign, Trump promised to drain the swamp of critters who weren’t doing their job. He spoke of endless foreign wars and what to do with the Taliban. Promises not kept.

The only promise he has kept is his racist agenda against anyone who is black, Muslim or Asian. He has portrayed anyone who isn’t white, rich or doesn’t agree with him as terrorists.

As the climate crisis grows and inequality continues, taxes for the wealthy are cut while our infrastructure continues to deteriorate. Trump talked about bringing back 4,000 soldiers from Afghanistan, but what about the rest of them? Get them all out.

We shouldn’t have been there in the first place.

When Osama bin Laden was killed, we heard the words, “We got him.” What about the rest of them? They’re still there and getting stronger.

When Japan wouldn’t surrender, Harry Truman did the right thing by dropping two big ones on them … war over.

We fought the Vietnam War not to win, and we’re doing the same thing in the Middle East.

Trump’s assault on our democracy is ongoing and it has to be stopped. If any president should be impeached, it’s this guy.
