DEAR EDITOR:

With the Christmas season here, we should take a moment to see how blessed we all are to have all the things that we enjoy. We should take a moment to think about the people in our area who may not be as fortunate and that may need that little extra to make their holidays a little more joyous.

When you see the Red Kettles at your local stores and the food drop-offs at local gathering points to support local food pantries, remember all of those who will benefit from your generous donations.

Our local pantries and missions do an outstanding service to the less fortunate here in the Valley! We must never forget: “There, but for the grace of God go I.”

Let’s make everyone’s holiday season a happy and joyous one.
