It’s about time for a change in the White House

DEAR EDITOR:

If you wonder why President Trump’s so-called government sides with big corporations over workers, the environment, consumers and common good, it’s because none of the workers send millions of dollars to Trump and Republicans in the House and Senate to keep them getting re-elected. His cabinet members are not fit to run their departments. For instance, an oil and coal lobbyist is head of the Interior; a Wall Street executive is the Treasury Chief; the EPA head previously lobbied for Big Coal; the Health Department is headed by a drug company executive. I think the worst appointment of all is Betsy DeVos as Education Secretary.

If DeVos gets her way, all schools will be charter schools. Why doesn’t she take her billions and go away?

Trump also said he could work out a deal on meaningful gun background checks, but Mitch McConnell refuses to let anything come to a vote that might interferes with his relationship with the NRA and their money.

Are you tired of people like Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump and his cabinet? Then get to the polls and vote them out. Things must change.

Tim Ryan probably won’t win the nomination for president, but he would make a great V.P.
