BERLIN CENTER — Richard Allen Bowen Jr., 57, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, surrounded by the view he loved most: a quiet pond, the deep woods and the wildlife of Berlin Center. Born in New Jersey on Dec. 28, 1968, to Richard Sr. and Phyllis Bowen, Rick grew up with a spirit as big as the outdoors. He was a 1987 graduate of Canfield High School and continued his education at Kent State University before earning degrees from Youngstown State University and Malone University.
