Frederick R. Lombard 1936-2026
PORT ORANGE, Fla. — Frederick Richard Lombard Jr. was called home to the Lord, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and faithful servant of God, Fred lived a life grounded in humility, kindness and deep love for his family and his faith. He was 89 years old.
On Nov. 10, 1956, he married the love of his life, Dorothy Mae Watson. Together, they shared 69 years of devoted marriage built on faith, partnership and unwavering love.
Faith was a cornerstone of Fred’s life. He attended Port Orange Presbyterian Church and was formerly a member of Coitsville Presbyterian Church.
Above all, he adored his family. His memory lives on by his devoted wife, Dorothy; his children, Larry (Debbie) Lombard of Port Orange, Florida, Debby Patrick of Struthers and Renee (Lee) Revis of Tampa, Florida; his grandchildren, Michael (Desarae) Lombard, Kelly (Will) Solomon, Corey Patrick, Jordan Revis and Carter Revis; and his great-grandchildren, Bailey and Ryder Mobley, and Gunnar and Trapper Lombard.
Fred will be remembered for his strong faith, gentle nature and the love he had for his wife and family.
A memorial service celebrating his life and what would’ve been his 90th birthday, a milestone he looked forward to, will be scheduled at a later date.
