Born April 1, 1945, in Campbell, Jerry lived a life marked by service, dedication, and a deep commitment to his faith and family.

A proud graduate of Campbell Memorial High School in 1963, Jerry went on to attend Youngstown State University.

His commitment to serving his country led him to enlist in the Army Reserve in August 1964, where he would serve until April 1970.

After his service, he joined General Motors, where he spent a fruitful career as a paint supervisor at the GM Lordstown plant before advancing to a supervisory position at the truck plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he retired in 1998.

In 1980, Jerry was ordained as a deacon in the Diocese of Youngstown. His faith was evident in his many roles, including serving as CCD Principal at St. Luke Church for 12 years, leading Bible studies, and offering his support as a chaplain at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

A dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph Church, he inspired those around him with his unwavering faith and commitment to serving others.

Jerry’s legacy also continues through his joys — his love for golfing, bowling, fishing, and his unwavering support for the Cleveland Browns and Guardians.
