Thomas E. Berardinelli 1956-2025

ARLINGTON, Texas — Thomas Edward Berardinelli, 69, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully, Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at his home..

He was born March 15,1956, in Youngstown, and moved to Arlington, Texas, in 1979.

He graduated from Ursuline High School in 1974.

He worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube before moving to Texas. In Texas, he worked as a machinist at Ametek Corporation, and then at Vought Corporation (LTV) and Northrop Grumman Corporation as a lead machinist before retiring. He made several intricate parts for the military and was particularly proud of making parts for the first stealth bomber B-2 Spirit.

He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, riding his 1994 Harley-Davidson, driving his beautiful 2018 Corvette, tinkering on various projects around the house, collecting various eclectic hats and wide-ranging shirts, and spending time with his family and friends. He particularly enjoyed the Christmas holiday season and reminiscing about his fun times in Youngstown.

Tom was immensely proud of the fact that after his move to Texas, many childhood friends / families eventually followed, several “new” families were created and lives were changed forever. He also enjoyed going to his favorite restaurant a few nights a week, Joe’s Pizza Pasta & Subs, to engage with friends and employees.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Berardinelli (1977); his mother, Mary Ann Berardinelli (2021); stepfather, Ralph Creatore (2024); and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close childhood friends.

He leaves his sister, Linda Berardinelli Pineda of Altamonte Spring, Florida; brother, James Berardinelli (Anita Berardinelli) of Mansfield, Texas; nephews, Joseph Berardinelli (Halee Perez Berardinelli) and Nicholas Berardinelli, both of Mansfield, Texas; great-nephew, Cohen Berardinelli of Mansfield, Texas; several of his close friends; and childhood sweetheart and former spouse, Janice Berardinelli, with whom he maintained a great friendship.

Tom’s infectious smile, mischievous laugh and friendship are dearly missed and we will cherish his memory forever.

We will celebrate his life with a memorial dinner with his family and close friends.
