Judith M. King 1938-2025

AUSTINTOWN — Judith M. King, 86, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at Masternick Memorial, with her family by her side.

Judy was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Giulianova, Italy, a daughter of the late Carmine and Maddalena Collevecchio. She came to the United States in 1953 and made her home in the Youngstown area.

Judy dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of St. Blaise Parish-Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and she enjoyed cooking, gardening and crocheting. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her loved ones.

She is survived by her two sons, Samuel H. King of Pasadena, Maryland, and Joseph A. King of Austintown; her brother, Alex Collevecchio of Youngstown; two sisters, Carla DeBartolo of Navarre, Florida, and Julie (Bill) Ranklin of Ellsworth; her grandson, Christopher King of Pasadena, Maryland; and many extended family members.

Her husband of 41 years, Samuel D. King, whom she married Sept. 22, 1956, preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1997.

Private services were held Monday, Sept. 22 at Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.

Judy was laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown, beside her beloved husband.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that Judy is reunited with her beloved Samuel and that her love and legacy will continue to live on in those she cherished most.
