Patricia A. Tirpack 1942-2025

CAMPBELL — Patricia A. Tirpack, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Monday, Aug. 5, 2025.

Patricia was born Aug. 6, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter of John A. and Mary I. Trill Olexa.

She was a 1960 graduate of Ursuline High School.

Patricia married her husband, Raymond Tirpack, on Feb. 1, 1964, and they shared 58 years of marriage until his passing on June 19, 2022.

She worked at the Social Security office in downtown Youngstown until retiring after 30 years.

Patricia was a former member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish-St. John Church. She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church and St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

Patricia volunteered at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church and St. Joseph the Provider School in the library, and also in the kitchen making pirohy.

She was very proud of her work with the Ohio Reads Program, also known as Read Ohio, where she helped children after school improve their reading skills, and volunteered with the Red Cross and read for the blind. She was a very giving person and donated to Campbell Memorial High School Baseball. Patricia also was a big New York Yankees fan.

Patricia will be deeply missed and always remembered by her sons, Terry and Ken Tirpack, both of Campbell; her sister, Doris Sevasko of St. Louis, Missouri; her brothers-in-law, Ken (Marian) Tirpack of Boardman and Edward Tirpack of Campbell; along with many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; brother-in-law, Thomas Sevasko; sister-in-law, Mariah Tirpack; and brother and sister-in-law, Agnes and Joseph DelSignore.

The Tirpack family has entrusted Patricia’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, where calling hours will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025.

A prayer service will be 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard, officiated by the Very Reverend Michael Balash.

Patricia will be laid to rest in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
