Janet L. Davidson 1957-2025

YOUNGSTOWN — Janet Louise Davidson, 67, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, with her husband by her side.
Born Oct. 16, 1957, in Youngstown, Janet was the daughter of the late Frank White and Mildred Bradley.
A proud graduate of Hubbard High School, Janet built a life rooted in hard work, generosity and quiet devotion to those she loved.
Janet shared 41 years of marriage with her husband and lifelong partner, Eugene Paul Davidson. Together, they raised a close-knit and loving family, and their bond was a source of strength through every season of life.
Over the years, Janet worked at Western Reserve Plastics, Lear Corporation and Comprehensive Logistics, spending more than a decade at each. She was a dependable and dedicated employee who earned the respect of everyone who worked alongside her.
Outside of work, Janet found joy in simple pleasures: she loved baking for others, especially during the holidays, and always had a tin of cookies or a sweet treat ready for friends and family. She had a special affection for cats and was known for her tender heart and her quiet, steadfast care for the people in her life.
Janet is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene; sister, Margaret Eagle-Cloud; daughter, Jessica Davidson and her partner, Scott Stead; son, Paul Davidson and his wife, Jaclyn Davidson; and her adored grandchildren, Elliot and Sadie, who brought light and laughter to her days.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Jack, Virginia and Jean.
The family will receive relatives and friends 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, followed by a noon memorial service, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.
Janet will be remembered for her generous spirit, her quiet strength and the way she made others feel cared for — simply by being herself.
