Renate Stoudt 1937-2025

Renate was born June 14, 1937, in Berlin, Germany, a daughter to the late Willi and Frieda Zimmer Schroecler.

With an outspoken personality and a refreshing lack of filter, Renate was known for her candidness and humor, which brought joy and laughter to those around her. Her warm presence and spirited character will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A dedicated housekeeper, Renate poured her heart into her work, believing that every detail mattered in creating a welcoming and loving environment. Outside of her career, she nurtured her passions, often found fishing, camping, bird watching or watering the vibrant flowers she lovingly tended in her garden, and swimming at JCC.

However, it was her family that held the most significant place in her heart. Renate was a proud mother to Shawn (Alice) Stoudt, and embraced her role as a grandmother to Kory Stoudt (Jessica Jewell) and Kortnie (Tyler) Marley, and great-grandmother to Aiden and Ethan.

No services will be held.

Renate will be laid to rest in Kerr Cemetery.
