Marie M. Sarver 1941-2025

She was born July 3, 1941, in McKeesport, Pa. She was the daughter of Hugh P. and Margret Wible McCusker.

She married Loran Dean Sarver on Sept. 14, 2002, and he survives. She also is survived by her sons, Christopher Joseph (Joell) Slifko of Derby, Kansas, James Stephen (Niccole) Slifko of Hubbard and Dennis (Marjorie) Sarver of Troy; daughter, Lou Ann Amstutz of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Brett, Michael, Desiree, Heather, Jennifer, Dwight, Crystal, Derek and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Eliza, Scarlette, Jaxton, Zayne, Austin, David, Chase, William, Tyler, Diana, Joshua Jr., Michael and Brandon; and a great-great-grandson, Waylon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Danny McCusker, Tommy McCusker and Billy McCusker; and sisters, Rita Mae Prescott and Margret Mary Trickett.

Marie graduated from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Edinburgh and Goldwing Road Riders Association. She was a registered clown and a Mary Kay consultant. She enjoyed spending time with her family, riding motorcycles, gardening and going on cruises.

A graveside service was conducted by Father Chris Wadelton on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana.
