Vicki L. Lambert 1960-2025

SALEM — It is with deep sorrow that the family of Vicki Lynn McMahan Lambert announces her sudden passing to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 64.

Vicki was born on Aug. 10, 1960, in Youngstown, the daughter of Ralph McMahan and Patricia Silvestri, lovingly raised by Elio Silvestri. She attended Immaculate Conception and St. Christine Elementary Schools and graduated from Boardman High School in 1978.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to all who knew her. She was full of life and laughter. She treasured her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her two sons and grandchildren meant the world to her.

Vicki was the proud resident and owner of the Timashamie Family Campground. She was cherished by her camp family. She looked forward to planning activities and events for them and loved receiving letters and pictures from her camp kids. She even had a candy drawer just for them.

Before becoming a camp owner, Vicki worked at Montgomery Ward, Children’s Palace, and as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, gardening, canning and cooking. She also loved listening to Bob Seger, floating in her swimming pool and rocking in her rocking chair.

Vicki was an active member of Paradise Church for many years.

Vicki will be dearly missed by her two sons, Steve (Kim) Lubonovich of Austintown and Kory Lambert of Salem; her grandchildren, Carter Lubonovich and Aria Lubonovich, both of Austintown; her siblings, Regina Schneider of Boardman, Renee (Jim) Mild of Columbus and Vincenzo Silvestri of Benton, Arkansas; her sister-in-law, Marlene McMahan of Boardman; her sweet dog, Nyla; and many loving aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, campers and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Silvestri; her father, Ralph McMahan; her Daddy, Elio Silvestri; and her brother, Ralph McMahan.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman, followed by a 7 p.m. service.
