Judith D. Prater 1958-2025

She was born Nov. 18, 1958, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Caroline Cowden.

Judy was a 1977 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. After graduation, she began working at Tartan Textiles, which later became Domestic Uniform, a devoted employee for 45 years.

She selflessly took care of family and friends her entire life.

Judy was a member of the Johnson Club, the Bessemer Croatian Club and was an Ohio Grange member. She was the heart and soul of All American Auction since its inception. In recent years, she was more of a “behind-the-scenes” worker.

Along with her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, of 42 years.

Per her request, there will be no services.
