Douglas R. Gue 1956-2024

Douglas was born Oct. 1, 1956, in Brownsville, Pa., a son of the late Douglas and Wilburta Guseman Gue.

He lived in the area his whole life and began working at LTV Steel, Republic Engineering and retired from the Independent Business Supply Company.

Douglas had a passion for riding his Harley and cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers. He was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians, always rooting for his teams. He took great pride in maintaining his yard and keeping his cars spotless.

Above all, Douglas cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren, creating memories that will last with them forever.

Douglas leaves behind his wife, Dawna; two daughters, Tracy (Logan) Reinard of Cortland and Katie (Robbie) Shape of Struthers; a brother, Jeff Gue of Struthers; and two grandchildren, Knox and Camille.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nancy Rowe.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
