Evelyn Colapietro 1948-2024

Evelyn was born July 26, 1948, to the late George and Christine Sotack, in Bad Toelz, Germany, moving to Youngstown as a young child.

She graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1966. She was an animal lover, nature lover and history buff. In her free time, she was an avid crafter who always had a sewing needle in her hand working on her next project.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Colapietro Sr.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert (Allison) Colapietro Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, and Ryan (Patricia) Colapietro of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Luisa, Isabella, Guiliana, Rocco and Bobby; siblings, Georgene Cook, Christine Kotouch, Doreen (Bruce) Monroe and Doug (Karen) Sotack; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Chuck) Hennon; and several nieces and nephews.

A small memorial for family and friends will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, 3495 S. Canfield Niles Road, Canfield, OH 44406.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angels for Animals, where she loved to volunteer in her younger years.
