Paul A. Potina 1955-2024

Born Jan. 3, 1955, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, Paul is a son of the late Jim and Mary Potina.

He was a proud graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Class of 1973, a member of the 1971 undefeated football Steel Valley Conference Champs and a YSU season ticket holder for many years.

He retired from Trumbull Supply after 40 years of dedicated service.

Paul is survived by his fiancee, Teresa Maschak; brother, Jim (Marianne) Potina; sister-in-law, Martha Potina; nephew and nieces, Dominic (Tecca) Potina, Shannon Rovnak, Stephanie Ward, Teresa Potina and Patricia Potina; great-niece and great-nephews, Justine Rovnak, Vincent Potina, Joe Rovnak, Anthony Potina and Max Ward; and his beloved cats, Squeaks and Birdie.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Potina.

Family and friends may call 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 77 E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to St. Dominic Church or the charity of your choice, in Paul’s name.
