Glen Puckett 1955-2024
MEDINA — Glen Puckett, 69, formerly of Niles, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, of metastatic lung cancer. He was born Aug. 1, 1955, in Warren, to the late Pearl and Eileen Leatherberry Puckett
Glen was a hardworking man who always gave everyone his best. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He leaves his wife, Becky, of 49 years, as well as his daughter, Jennifer Puckett of Medina; and two grandchildren, Roseileen and Violetta, who brought him great joy spending time with and sharing his life with.
Glen was a member of Medina Presbyterian Church, Medina Eagles, Teamsters Local 377, Planet Fitness and the Medina Rec Center. He loved the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
In his younger years, he coached squiggies (The Little Red Dragons) then he played in and managed a men’s softball team.
Glen enjoyed sitting outside with his neighborhood buddies and he leaves behind many caring and wonderful friends.
He leaves a brother, Jim Puckett from Florida; a daughter, Samantha McHugh (married to Chadwick) of Seville, with four grandchildren, Katlyn, Aden, Olivia and Addy; and a son, Glen Puckett (Marty) (married to Jill) of McDonald, with two grandsons, Ty and Kyle.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
