Peggy Jo Webb 1955-2024

Peggy was born Oct. 4, 1955, in Warren, a daughter of the late John and Margerie Sheffler Whitney.

Raised in Niles, she was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She continued her education at Kent State Trumbull, where she received her associate degree in business administration. She worked as a bank teller, a nanny for a family in Cortland and as a librarian at the Warren and Cortland libraries.

She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Cortland. She had a love for animals, gardening and reading. Most of all, she was family-oriented. She loved being with her family, especially her three grandchildren.

Peggy will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Paul C. Webb, whom she married Aug. 20, 1977; children, Lauren (Seneca) Webb, Brandon Webb and Megan (Randy) Blakeman; grandchildren, Sophia, Korbin and Everett; and her brother-in-law, Joe DeToto.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carl and Thelma Sheffler; and sister, Margie DeToto.

A private service will be held at a later date; interment will take place in Niles City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley Hospice House or the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
