Her commitment to aiding those in need resonated deeply with her values, making a profound impact on countless lives over three decades. Her proudest accomplishments included being a member of Old North Church, the New Life Maternity Home and the Trumbull County business women’s organization.
Family was at the core of Linda’s being; she cherished her loved ones above all else. She is survived by her daughters, Kristina (John) Ervin, Jennifer (Bruce) Senn, Kathleen Sherrard; son, David Sherrard Jr.; and her grandchildren, Maria Ervin, Lillian (Charles) Morrow, John Ervin III, Abbigail, Isabella Senn.
Her sister, Debra Sweet, and her brothers, Rudolph (Betty) Salazar and Rick (Veronica) Salazar, will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Linda’s passing leaves a void in their lives but also gratitude for having shared their journeys with such an extraordinary individual.
In the loving embrace of her family members waiting beyond this life are her husband, David L. Sherrard, whom she married Dec. 19, 1970, and who died Dec. 30, 2014, and her parents, Rudolph and Lillian Salazar.
Outside of work and family life, Linda found joy in planning events and creating special moments for those around her. Her dedication to bringing people together was a testament to her generous spirit and genuine kindness.
A visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, 3701 Starr Centre Drive, Canfield, OH 44406.
