Frances Kadilak 1923-2024

CAMPBELL — Frances Kadilak, 100, passed away peacefully,Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Frances was born Dec. 13, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of Andrew and Marcella Ludwig May.

Frances married her husband, Michael Kadilak, on Jan. 11, 1941. They were married for 69 years until his passing on Oct. 10, 2010.

Frances owned and operated Kadilak’s Bar for many years.

She was a former member of St. Joseph the Provider Church.

Frances was a very kind and loving person. She was a great cook and a wonderful baker. She and her husband loved to travel, especially trips to Las Vegas.

She will be deeply missed and always remembered by her son, Michael (Jacquelyn) Kadilak of Boardman; her daughter, Evelyn (Don) Malarcik of Canfield; a sister, Helen Vrona of Austintown; grandchildren, Michael Kadilak, Don (Alisa) Malarcik Jr., Deborah Neff and Diane (Susan Miller) Malaricik; five great-grandchildren, Jace, Dillon and Reese Malarcik, Aiden and Ella Neff; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, and her siblings.

The Kadilak family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Aventura at Humility House in Austintown.

The Kadilak family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Wasko Funeral Home. Friends and family may call 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024, at St. Charles Church in Boardman. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Friday, at the church, officiated by Msgr. John Zuraw.
