Helen Ballas 1933-2024
NORTH CANTON — Helen Pavlos Ballas, 90, of North Canton, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024. Born in Tarpon Springs, Florida, to the late Michael and Nomiki Pavlos, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Ballas; and sister, Sylvia (Gus) Gavrilos.
She was a resident of Campbell and member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.
Helen is survived by her sons, Nick (Virginia) Ballas, Mike (Terri Tisone) Ballas; grandchildren, William (Mari) Ballas, U.S. Army Captain Dr. Thomas (Santanna Cowan) Ballas; great-grandchildren, Nico and Vasili Ballas; and nephews, Philip, George and Paul Gavrilos.
Private services were held at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church and interment in Archangel Michael Cemetery.
