Gayle N. Saluga 1953-2024

She was born July 14, 1953, in Warren, the daughter of the late Dominic and Rebella Giordanengo Chance.

Gayle was a 1971 graduate of McDonald High School and attended Youngstown State University for two years. She was employed for 26 years at Delphi Packard Electric and was of the Catholic faith.

She enjoyed shopping, reading, traveling, going out every Friday with her friends, movies and Inky, her cat.

Her husband, James D. Saluga, whom she married Oct. 16, 1976, died Aug. 24, 2011.

She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Sandra Saluga of Warren, and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Chance.

Friends may call noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Warren Hospital, Shepherd of The Valley, Liberty and Hospice of The Valley for their kind and compassionate care.
