Nancy M. Price 1929-2024

CANFIELD — Nancy M. Price, 94, passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at Hospice House, with her family by her side.

Nancy was born May 3, 1929, in Aliquippa, Pa., the daughter of Herbert and Cerdylyn “Carrie” Richards Williams. She was a 1947 graduate of South High School and attended Youngstown State University.

Nancy worked at General Fireproofing from 1947 to 1956. She was a 41-year veteran of the real estate industry in the Mahoning Valley and served a two-year term on the Youngstown Board of Realtors. She was past president of the Women’s Council of Realtors and was a district coordinator. Nancy worked as a management consultant for Century 21 of Ohio, managing the district office and training center from 1973 to 1981. She then went on to form Concept 11 Real Estate Brokerage in 1995, retiring in 2012.

Nancy was active in the community. She was past president of the AARP Group of Canfield and also served many boards and organizations. She was a member of the Canfield Business and Professional Women’s Club, Canfield Community Care and the Order of the Eastern Star, Mariam Chapter. Nancy was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church Garden Club and was a member of the Canfield Lions Club.

Nancy will be deeply missed and always remembered by her daughters, Kathleen J. Steigauf of San Ramon, California and Karen Gwen Steigauf (TJ Kiddon) of Canfield; two grandchildren, Chelsea Kaminski and Lindsay Bozanich (Brock Reid); her brother, Jay (Carlene) Williams; nephews, Mark (Miguel Pulido) Williams and Jeffrey (Alice) Williams; and great-nieces Morgan and Carley Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy’s family has entrusted her care to the Wasko Funeral Home, Campbell location at 216 Coitsville Road and will receive family and friends 11 a.m to noon Friday, Feb. 16, 2024.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Dan Yargo, will immediately follow at noon. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
