Margaret Diver 1942-2024
BERLIN CENTER — Margaret Carmen Diver, 81, passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024.
She was born in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Carman Lewis and Margaret Estock Lewis.
Margie graduated from McKinley High School in Sebring, in 1966, and went on to attend the St. Francis School of Nursing in Columbus. She spent 50 years as a registered nurse before retiring. She met the love of her life, the late Gerald F. Diver, through her mother, who suggested that Margie catch a ride with him back to town when they were both away. They went on to marry in May 1966, and raised two daughters together, Traci and Jenifer.
Margaret was a lover of many things, such as painting, crafting, traveling and reading. She was an avid genealogist and enjoyed tracing her family’s history. She was a member of the National Society of The Colonial Dames of America, as well as Daughters of the American Revolution and the Omega Nu Ta Sorority. She also was a member of the choir at St. Michael Church and the French Club.
She leaves behind her daughters, Traci (Tony) Pabst and Jenifer (Bret) Newbould; her three grandchildren, Brooke Peaco, Freddie Collins and Sydnee Collins; and two great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Aria Collins. She also leaves behind three nieces, Cindy (Lou) Miranda and Kimmy and Kelly Wayt; cousin, Michael Knapik; two godchildren, Marissa and Gabreil Miranda; and great-nieces and nephews, Tommy, Julia, Jessi and Jarrett.
