John M. Terlecki 1961-2023

John was born March 26, 1961, in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Theresa Herman Terlecki and lived in the area most of his life, moving to Florida in 2012.

Jon was a 1979 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and worked at Ohio Edison / FirstEnergy for 30 years, before retiring in 2012.

Mr. Terlecki was a member of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.

He enjoyed bowling, boating on Lake Erie and was a champion pool player.

John leaves to cherish his memory, his high school sweetheart, Lori Chismar Terlecki, whom he married Feb. 14, 1985; his two fur babies, Carson and Lexi; several extended family members and friends, including his cousins, Tiffany, Alice and Sheri, and his friends, Lisa, Tammy and Dave.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.

John’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Lori’s cousins, Barbie and Joann, for their love and kindness shown to the family. They were Lori’s rock.
