Hazel Bradley 1942-2023

AUSTINTOWN –Minister Hazel Bradley, 80, transitioned from her earthly labor to her heavenly reward, Friday, Aug. 4, 2023 at her home.

Minister Bradley was born Nov. 14, 1942, in Flat Creek, Ala., a daughter of Mack and Catherine Lanier Treadwell. She had been employed as a cook with Courtneys Restaurant. She was a foster grandparent volunteer with the Youngstown City Schools. She also volunteered with MYCAP.

A former member of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, Hazel served as assistant minister, was a member of The Sisterhood, choir, mission, superintendent of Sunday school and co-chairperson of Christian education. Presently, she was a member of World Fellowship Church, where she served as assistant minister and church mother.

She leave to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life and legacy, three children, Glynis Bradley and Daniel (Wendy) Bradley, both of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jeniene (James) Ford of Youngstown; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Inez Taylor of Upper Marlboro, Md.; and a host of family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. D. Bradley, whom she married June 2, 1966, and who passed away July 18, 1991; and a daughter, Catherine Woodbridge.

Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, at World Fellowship Church, 494 W. Dewey Ave., Youngstown, OH 44511. A celebration of life will follow at 10 a.m. Guests are asked to wear masks.
