Jeremy S. Gromley 1981-2023
MINERAL RIDGE — Jeremy Stephen Gromley, 41, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, May 9, 2023, at his residence, following a yearlong battle with cancer.
Jeremy was born Aug. 12, 1981, in Youngstown, the son of Vincent J. Gromley and Kathleen Sayers Lally.
Jeremy was 1999 graduate of McDonald High School and Ohio Technical College as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed watching football, working on cars and collecting antiques. He had a great love for his family and cherished all family activities and gatherings.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Cassandra Lelesch, whom he married Oct. 16, 2007; mother, Kathleen Lally of Mineral Ridge; two daughters, Aubrey Gromley of Warren and Constance Gromley of Niles; great-niece, Braelynn Kaintz and great-nephew, Kolten (Bubby) Kaintz, both of Mineral Ridge, whom he was raising; a sister, Kathy May of Toledo; brother, Jayson Gromley of Mineral Ridge; a stepdaughter, Cierra Lelesch and two stepsons, Mahki Crank and Kodan Crank, all of Warren; and many extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Calling hours will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lawrence Hardesty of Galilee Apostolic Church officiating.
