Jeannette M. Steinhaus 1948-2023
MILFORD — Jeannette M. Steinhaus, 74, a longtime resident of Milford, passed away peacefully at her home, Wednesday, May 17, 2023, after a courageous four-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Jeannette was born July 21, 1948, in New Castle, Pa., to Joseph and Louise Berkos. She will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.
Jeannette graduated from Boardman High School in 1966 and retired in 2015 after a long career at Strauss and Troy as a paralegal. She was an avid golfer, and aside from spending time with her grandkids, this was her passion.
Thank you to her many cheerleaders, nurse’s aides and Uber drivers that helped carry her through this journey.
Jeannette lost her loving husband of 37 years, William, in October 2022. She leaves behind her daughter, Cyndi (Craig) Meyer; sons, Ron (Amy) Sprinkle and Jim (Molly) Sprinkle; and adoring grandchildren, Addison, Hunter, Ella, Oliver, Ava, Mia, Hayden, Kylee, Mac and Mason; and a sister Merceda (Robert) Saleman.
A memorial Mass is being planned for a later date.
