Mary Lou Tims Craigo 1942-2023

She grew up in Newark, graduated from Newark High School in 1960, and went on to attend Denison University and The Ohio State University.

Mary Lou married Bob Craigo in 1968 and was off on an adventure traveling in their Airstream trailer, following the sun, as Bob worked as a master plumber with Lou in support in a sundry of jobs.

Mary Lou was a mathematician, an excellent pianist, painter, seamstress and secretary. She loved her family and traveled all over the states to visit with them. Newark was her birthplace, and she lived in North Jackson for most of her life with her husband, Bob.

Mary Lou’s mother and father, Amy Vance Tims and John William Tims; and sister, Jane Ann of Newark, preceded her in death.

Mary Lou is survived by brothers, Jim (Anne) Tims, Jack (Brenda) Tims and Susan (Bill) Jansheski.

Mary Lou led a loving life and will be missed by friends and family.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mary Lou’s name to The William Chaney Vance Athletic Scholarship Fund, Fund No. 607446 at The Ohio State University.

A celebration of Mary Lou’s life will be held at a later date by the family.
