Barbara C. Koss Newtz 1942-2021

She was born in East Liverpool, the oldest child of Walter and Blanche Marciniak of Midland, Pa.

A dedicated wife and mother of six with Thomas, Barbara lived a life of care and love with the joys of her life, her family. She made friends wherever she went, especially at SS. Peter and Paul Church, where she worked as a receptionist for Msgr. Raymond Schultz for many years, and again at the Mahoning Avenue Giant Eagle in Youngstown for many more.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was sadly preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas J. Koss (1994) and Clement F. Newtz (2016).

Barbara is survived by her children, Kim Koss (Terry), Joe Koss (Michele), Michael Koss (Stacey), Cathy Koss, Tom Koss (Lisa) and Terri Skerlec (Mark); grandkids, Corina (Justin), Sara, Monica, Thomas, Jonathan, Katianne and Julianne; along with a great-grandbaby, Emilia. She is already greatly missed.

The family has entrusted Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, with the final wishes of Barbara. There will be a private burial in Beaver Cemetery with her beloved husbands, after cremation. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
