George “Bill” Breedlove 1951-2021

McDONALD — George “Bill” Breedlove, 69, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 11, 2021, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born Dec. 27, 1951, in Youngstown, the son of John Romie and Agnes Pansy Breedlove.

Bill graduated from McDonald High School, Class of 1969. He remained in the Valley and spent more than 15 years at General Motors.

In 2008, Bill married the love of his life, Barbara Breedlove, and together they shared 13 wonderful years of marriage. He loved his family and always put his wife and children first. Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting and playing bingo. He was a member of the Vienna Fish & Game and Tri-County Metal Detecting clubs. Friends and family could always count on Bill’s handyman skills. He competed in bowling leagues with his son and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fanatic.

Bill will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Barbara Breedlove. Bill is survived by his sons and their families: Matthew, Kim and Yari of Cornersburg; Jason Breedlove of Girard; stepson, Brody, Krystal and Tru Campbell of Cortland; and stepson, Kristopher and Addison Campbell of Warren. Bill was one of seven children born to his parents and is survived by siblings, Leighton (Shirley) Breedlove of Austintown, James (Lillian) Breedlove of Girard, Harvey Breedlove of McDonald, Helen Breedlove of Warren; and sister-in-law, Rosemary of Lordstown. He was a loving grandfather to several grandchildren and cherished uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Agnes Breedlove; sister, Dixie Kuhn and her husband, Fred; brother, Pete Breedlove; and sister-in-law, Ann Breedlove.

Per Bill’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
