Michael G. Mrosko 1977-2021

Michael was born May 8, 1977, on Mother’s Day, to George M. Mrosko and Deborah Miller Gallagher.

Michael graduated from Struthers High School in 1995 and continued his education at Youngstown State University.

Cars were always his passion and love. He also was a diehard Chicago Bears and Ohio State fan. Michael enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, George (Cathy) Mrosko and Deborah Gallagher, he leaves his sister, Melissa (Chuck) McCudden. Michael also leaves his life partner, Stacy Ferro, who was his best friend and confidant. He is survived by his grandmother, Shirley Miller; uncles, Wally and Fred Miller; aunts, Cathy (Rex) Glasgow, Cathy Smail and Martha Malice; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Miller Jr.; grandmother, JoAnn Bachani; great-grandparents, Paul and Mildred Yerian; stepfather, George Gallagher; aunt, Genie Miller, and his favorite aunt, Nancy Fire, with whom he will be laid to rest; paternal grandparents, Mike and Catherine Mrosko; and aunt, Helen Mrosko.

Michael’s best friend, Toby Ferro, promised he would meet him at Heaven’s gate driving the bus.

A private service celebrating Michael’s life was held Thursday afternoon at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
