Filomena ‘Carmen’ Fonseca 1937-2020

Carmen was born Aug. 10, 1937, in Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Felix and Carmela Cotto Lopez Sr.

She was a homemaker that was dedicated to her family.

Carmen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Norma (Wilson) Mendez, Lillian Cruz, Steven (Abigail) Fonseca, Edwin Fonseca and Anthony (Jean) Fonseca; many grandchildren; and her siblings, Juanita Alamos, Lucas Fonseca, Felix Lopez Jr. and Mercedes Velaquez.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in the death by her son, Ruben; and her siblings, Angel Lopez Sr., Robert Lopez and Felicita.

Due to the current pandemic, the family had private services for Carmen; she was interred in Lake Park Cemetery.
