Dr. David D. Starr 1941-2020

He was born Dec. 30, 1941, in Austintown, to parents Donald and Helen (Cook) Starr.

David was an orthodontist who was passionate about helping children and giving them a beautiful smile. He also served his country as a dentist in the Air Force.

David was also passionate about his music and enjoying life. He loved driving his Corvette and entertaining friends. David loved the sunshine and spending time at his condo on Catawba Island. He also loved bargain shopping, collecting nautical antiques, and Popeye memorabilia.

David is survived by his children, Karie (Dave) Rittenour, Heather Vizmeg and Ryan (Arlene Behanna) Starr; as well as his grandchildren, whom he cherished, Nikolas, Alicia, Alek, Brianna, Maya, Nevaeh and Landen.

David was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ray Starr.

His wishes for cremation are being honored and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
