Raymond C. Wilkins, 1943-2020

He was born Aug. 3, 1943, in Liberty, the son of Lawrence and Bernice Stauffer Wilkins.

A graduate of Liberty High School, Ray worked his career selling used cars, and for many years was the used car manager at Jim Pace Pontiac.

A member of IFH in Girard and ARC and the American Legion in Lake Milton, he enjoyed bocce and NASCAR, and was a great fan of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. He made friends easily and loved spending time with them.

He is sadly missed by his loving wife of 16 years, Judy Stier Lusher Wilkins, whom he married Aug. 14, 2004; two sons, Jeff Wilkins (Tina) of Canfield and Raymond C. Wilkins, Jr. (Kathy) of Pennsylvania; one stepdaughter, Cheryl Evans (Phillip) and her son Sebastian of Bristolville; one stepson, William Lusher of Liberty; four other grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Linda Wyatt (Bud) of Beloit; three brothers: Rich Wilkins (Jeannie) of Cortland, Larry Wilkins (Barb) of Columbus and Chuck Wilkins (Tammy) of Liberty; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lawrence and Bernice Wilkins; and one brother, Gary Wilkins.

Private services will be held at a later date. Per his request, cremation is taking place.
